On JM, there is an alt cap - but it's defined as being a 'soft' one. After you have accumulated five alts, you are still allowed to request more, though these will not be so readily accepted. The wizards will consider your newer alt(s) on the critera of how active you are with your current ones, and you will be asked to give a good reason as to why you desire another character. The concept may be denied, but you can always save it and make your request again at a later date. Multiplaying (the act of having more than one character connected to the MUCK at one time) is allowed. However, if you break the rules of the MUCK, this privilege is subject to being revoked. Try to make sure you can pay enough attention to each alt you connect, though! Metagaming (using IC knowledge of one character to the gain of a different character) is not allowed. Interaction with your OWN alts is allowed, but only to an extent. Even if two of your characters are in the same place, you should pose both of them from one connected character and keep the other disconnected or OOC to minimalize spam and lagtime between poses so that the scene doesn't get bogged down. To request an alt, type '@request' when connected to your main character.
